Postcards From Forgotten Places

This is a selection of works from ‘Postcards from forgotten places’, a major exhibition held in Adelaide from November 2006 to January 2007. It showcased personal photographs I’d taken over more than two decades. The exhibition featured rural towns, agricultural landscapes and images of urban industrial architecture and streetscapes in South Australia. Here’s what the curator had to say: ‘Eric’s eye for balance is coupled with tonalities that bring refined nuances of emotion and atmosphere in his rural images. His eye for detail and the quirky offers wit and humour together with memories and nostalgia in his urban images of inner Adelaide.’
